MEMORANDUM
DA: March 17, 1995
TO: Dan Stanley
FR: Alec Vachon
RE: INVITATION TO FOURTH KANSAS DISABILITY CAUCUS/ OTHER KS VISITS
* I received the attached invitation to speak to a statewide meeting of Kansans interested in disability issues on April 6th in Topeka. (Mo attended the last such meeting in January 1992.) This meeting --held every three years --is sponsored by the State Independent Living Council and the Kansas Department of Rehabilitation Services. Although I have met with many Kansans here in Washington, and developed strong working relationships at a distance, this would be an excellent occasion to visit with people on their home turf.
* In addition, I have been asked to travel on to the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation in Wichita to see their operation.
* This office would be responsible for my travel, lodging, and other expenses.
