Withdrawn Requests
We had previously requested your participation in the following events, but we are now withdrawing these requests:
· Wednesday, January 25 - Senate Schedulers' Breakfast
· Tuesday, January 31 - Policy Board Dinner at the Occidental Restaurant (the dinner is being moved to another date since it currently conflicts with the State of the Union). When this event is re-scheduled, Mark and I believe you should attend at least the first of these quarterly dinners to set the tone for the coming year.
· Saturday, February 4 - Reagan Day Lunch in Hendersonville
· Friday, February 24 - Reagan Day Lunch in Wilmington
Pending Requests
We request approval of your participation in the following events:
· Wednesday, January 25 - Dole Committee PAC Lunch and PAC Steering Committee meeting in the late afternoon (Washington, DC). Steve Phillips is working on this event. Fundraising Goal: $30,000. Proceeds from the PAC lunch will also benefit the NRSC. (Highlighted: This would be the first of the monthly Dole Committee PAC events.)

Mark continues to believe that these monthly PAC lunches are an important thing for you to do. Jonathan Brooks indicates that this event will not be feasible if we do not get sign-off very soon.
(Checkmark) . Wednesday, February 8 - Republican Senate Council Quarterly Luncheon (Washington, DC). This is the first of four quarterly lunches for PAC donors who contribute at least $5,000 annually. Your role would be to provide a brief campaign race update. Mark and I believe you should attend at least the first of these quarterly lunches to help set the tone for the year.
· Friday, February 24 - Dole Majority Committee event at the Grandover Resort (Greensboro). Fundraising Goal: $100,000 for NRSC and $50,000 for Dole Committee.

· Sometime in April -- Rep. Ed McMahan has requested that you participate in a fundraiser for him in Charlotte.
Other NRSC Events
Please note that the following NRSC events are still in the planning stages:
· March (Date TBD) - Salute to the Majority Leader ($1 million event for Majority Makers with the Vice President) (Washington, DC).
· March 28-30 (tentative) - Spring Policy Forum for the Presidential Roundtable and Senatorial Inner Circle. The First Lady has been invited to participate in this event.
· April 5 - RSC Quarterly Luncheon (Washington, DC).
· April 28-30 -- Majority Maker/Senatorial Trust Spring Meeting (Kiawah Island). Please note that the TLC event in Washington is currently scheduled for April 27- 28. (This may be too much for you to do.)
While you are traveling out West in February, you may want to consider doing a campaign event in the period between your time in Las Vegas (February 17-19) and Los Angeles (February 21). Perhaps a stop in either Washington State or Montana would

make sense. Please let us know whether you would like us to explore this possibility further.
