Back in March, at. Byrd's behest (working through Joe Stewart), you ok-ed a suggestion by Byrd that we invite a British parliamentary group to visit in June (see attached memos).

The British are coming -- the second week in June.

The delegation will be led by Peter Brooke, who has one of the most sensitive jobs in the UK government -- head of Northern Ireland affairs. Any meeting with him will get the attention of the Irish-American community.

Byrd will probably host a lunch for him, and Mitchell has agreed to meet him, with the rest of the delegation.
