A BILL
To permit any person otherwise eligible to become a naturalized citizen during calendar year 1977 to become a naturalized citizen during calendar year 1976.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That, notwithstanding the residence requirements of sections
4 316 (a) and 319 (a) of the Immigration and Nationality
5 Act, any person otherwise eligible to become a naturalized
6 citizen during calendar year 1977, is eligible to become a
7 naturalized citizen during calendar year 1976.
