Dear Dean Rathbone:
Thank you for sending me the map of historical sites in Riley County.
The map looks as if an exploring trip through the area would be fun, and reminds me again that the East certainly doesn't have a monopoly on points of historical interest, as some persons seem to advocate.
Again, thanks for the map.
Sincerely yours,
BOB DOLE
United States Senator

Dear Senator Dole:
I thought you would enjoy a copy of the map of historical sites for Riley County. This was a bicentennial project of the College of Engineering at Kansas State University which was done jointly by the faculty and the students with help from the Riley County Historical Museum. We plan to have these maps available at the Student Union, the Chamber of Commerce, the Riley County Historical Museum and other locations throughout Manhattan.
Best personal regards.
Sincerely,
