It has come to my attention that the Shawnee, Kansas American Revolution Bicentennial Committee has formally filed an application to be recognized as an official bicentennial Committee.
I know that this Committee has broad community support for its plans, and I would like to add my own personal hope that the Committee's application will receive your favorable and prompt consideration.
