Re: Update/Bill Dole's Christmas Visit to Russell

*Apparently, Bill's trip wen well. I spoke with him yesterday, he sounded good. Claimed to have gained 20 pounds --apparently from all the pizza and oreos he ate.

*I also spoke to Nancy (today --she is in Colorado visiting her Mom), and she confirmed, "Bill got to do what he wanted to do --stay at Grandma's and eat pizza." Bill spent Christmas Eve and Day with the whole family. Nancy took him to the cemetery to visit his Dad's grave --Bill approved of headstone (which he hadn't seen before).

*One jarring note: Dottie mentioned to me that Bill said a woman called Christmas Eve at your house, wanting your phone number, threatening to come by and kill Bill and herself if he didn't give it to her. Dottie and Nancy were doubtful this happened at all; Bill reported to Anita. Bill didn't mention it to me.

*ATTACHED FOR YOUR SIGNATURE IS A NOTE TO THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING AT APPLEWOOD, MARY HARDING, WHO WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH BILL'S TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS.
