Senator Robert Dole
Senate Office Building
Washington, D. C. 20510
Dear Bob:
I have your letter of October 29 in response to mine of October 6. The meeting of the Board of the League of Families will be November 20-21 instead of November 6. (Redacted) will be back from Turkey by that time and I would like to visit with him.
(Redacted)'s daughter, (redacted), died of a brain hemorrhage. She was (redacted)'s age. You remember (redacted), a partner of (redacted). (Redacted) is a brother-in-law. (Redacted), our daughter, was home from Denver. She works once a week as a volunteer at Fitzsimmons Hospital and today, is to talk to Saxton. She may have some facts which I can relay, but I imagine the Adjutant General has the full story by now.
I will attempt to make contact with you after our meeting on the 20th.
Sincerely,
(Redacted)

(the following note is handwritten)
I refer alone to Saxton who was released by The Viet Cong. I know the father and mother and (redacted) is to visit them also. I think this whole deal is explosive. Shutting of foreign military aid could wreck the whole (illegible).
