Re: Kevin Saunders

You received letter from Kevin Saunders (attached), with autobiography dedicated to John Diamantakiou. Kevin receiving electrical stimulation therapy at Petrofsky rehab center in Irvine, CA. Spoke with him last week: therapy reversing some bone mass loss in legs, and because of the conditioning effects feels better. Also sent research papers -- thought you might have a personal interest in treatment. I made inquiries about Petrofsky Center --although receives no federal research funds (and thus no peer review), Dr. Petrofsky seems well regarded and therapy has a sound theoretical rationale.

TY attached for signature. Alternatively, if you wish to call Kevin: Petrofsky Center, 714/855-4837; home: 714/573-2913.

Kevin of course wants to remain on the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. You received acknowledgement today from White House of your letters of support (attached). I suggested to Kevin he directly contact Florence Griffith Joyner and Tom McMillan, new Co-Chairs of the President's Council, to campaign. Jon Lynn is preparing for your signature letters to these individuals as well.

If you return book and other materials I will keep them on file.
