- The goal in Vietnam hasn't changed. It wasn't initiated, first of all, by President Nixon, and I sometimes wonder when we talk about all the problems now, where all these people were several years ago. But I think — I think that the prisoners [of war] have a priority. I'd say that. I’ve said it before. I’ve said it to the president — and I think he understands that — but that’s not the only objective in South Vietnam, no.
