Attached is a list of attendees from the National Grain Trade Council for the Wednesday meeting.
The meeting time has been changed to 12:00.
This is mostly a courtesy call. However, they may mention that they would favor a return to a "normal crop acreage" or NCA in the 1990 Farm Bill. An NCA would establish a farm base for producers rather than giving specific crop bases for corn, wheat, etc. They feel this would allow more flexibility in allowing farmers to plant for the market rather than government programs. Producers in Kansas would be favorable to this approach.
