SUBJ: MEETING WITH GERMAN VICE CHANCELLOR HANS-DIETRICH GENSCHER (This is the correct spelling of his name)

The only time that Genscher now has available in his schedule is from 11:45 to 12:15 today. I have therefore scheduled the meeting for that time in your office, recognizing that you also have Chairmen's meeting and the Washburn luncheon and then Policy.
From the CODEL Dole NATO trip, I have invited Senators Laxalt, Thurmond, McClure, Cochran and (crossed out) Pressler (end cross out); and from the Leadership, I have invited (crossed out) Senators Simpson, (end cross out) Chafee and Armstrong.
The only regrets I have at this time are from Senator Simpson, who has another commitment, and from Pressler who may not get in from the airport in time. (I did not invite Senator Heinz.)
