Dear Bob :
Such material as is enclosed, I do not like. Are we to have trouble right here in America with the black man? It would appear that the negroes are getting impatient, because of their past treatment. Perhaps they are justified, but they certainly should remember that quiet resistance gains ground faster than force. I hope that you are an ambassador of good will in instructing our Southern friends that progress must be made quickly in human relations.
