As you know, the 1996 Paralympic Games will be in Atlanta next summer immediately following the Centennial Olympic Summer Games. Not only are the Games an opportunity to showcase the accomplishments of truly world-class athletes, but also a chance to promote to a worldwide audience the abilities of all persons with disabilities. 

The APTA is pleased to learn of your efforts in support of the Paralympic Games. Our members, and the over 40 million Americans with disabilities commend you for your continued support for disability issues and your current involvement with the Paralympics.
